TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING WHO GOD IS

TEXT: John 17:3; And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Surely, the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of God's Glory. Praises be to the God who lives forever. Amen. 

You know, when I got this in my heart to share this wonderful subject with us, I feel this is God calling us not just to seek Him for things, but to seek Him to know and also understand Him. His heart calls out for sons and daughters who will truly seek the Him to know Him and not follow blindly because everyone is following, not just acquiring head-knowledge about Him without knowing him truly or understanding Him. This is a call to Intimacy. Psalms 14:2; The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. O yes, don't be surprised, He looks down to check if there are truly any, so once He finds you accepting this invitation, He'll come to you.

I truly will say this: at first I was thinking about what I'll say, because God cannot be summarized even in the largest world journal not to talk of right here. Then it dawned on me that only God can perfectly teach us and make us understand Him, His ways, His Glory, everything about Him. And guess what?, you cannot exhaust the process; there is always something we don't know, like there's always another layer or dimension of Him that He reveals to us as we come to Him thirsty and ready. I believe the Lord is going to pour out a strong hunger, thirst and desire on as many of us that are willing today, He wouldn't stop there, He'll also help you and guide you to seek Him. Glory to God. Alleluia.

So when you feel pressed to pray or study the Word, do it, this is how we come into intimacy, by fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit, prayer and study of the word which includes meditation and attention to details, He'll teach you better. Grow in Him. You don't even have to wait till you feel pressed, schedule out a time consistently to seek Him, show Him your willingness and follow it up. Don't forget He'll help you. 

He'll show you all from that He is a Spirit to that He created the world, to that He is ABBA FATHER, forever loving, faithful, just, righteous, merciful, gracious, kind, so more and more. I'm glad because we have God.

Also note this and please don't neglect; if you're reading this and your stand with Him is shaky, you know where you are, repent, ask for His help and start a new walk afresh with Him and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit will abide with you forever.
