TOPIC: JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST

TEXT: Romans 14:17, For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Let every thing that has breath praise the Lord. Glory to Elohim and praises be to His name forever. What a wonderful gift from God to be alive today, Alleluia. Amen.

Briefly, we'll be taking a look on the subject; Joy in the Holy Ghost. I believe the Lord wants to encourage us and do more than even what we think, so we pray that the Almighty One have His way in Jesus name. Amen. We trust the Holy Ghost to enlighten us, and direct us in the right path.

Joy is a fruit of the Spirit, one of the glorious nature of the Father. Yes, this fruit ought to be manifest in our daily lives by the power of the Holy Spirit because the old nature has been taken away, and this new nature put in us is the nature of the Most Holy God. And we know that bitterness isn't God's nature. Alleluia.

From our text, the kingdom of God is righteousness, and peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost. In this nature we ought to serve Christ that we may be acceptable of God and approved of men.

 In this decision you have made to live for Christ, yes, there might and will be temptations, trials might come and they surely will go, so many things, but He didn't let all this so we can be filled with sorrow. Even Jesus encourages us to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. But the Joy, peace, faith and assurance that fills our spirit from reading these kind of passages of the scriptures is only by the Holy Ghost. We can only and truly have Joy and peace in believing by the power of the Holy Spirit, this is part of why He must be your closest friend. So many situations might happen, but the presence of the fruit of Joy and His immeasurable comfort is what will keep you.

Many have lost hope in service of God, in living for Christ because they feel and truly do not get any Joy or happiness from it and situations that surround them. This is due to lack of the presence of the person of the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit called Joy. 

It is our prayer and I know assuredly that by the power of the Holy Ghost, many will be filled with this gift and grace of Joy today, that we'll all be joyful as we truly serve the Lord, in and out of trials or whatsoever comes our way, that our hope in Christ will be restored and abound forever, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
