IN HIS LOVE

MENTORING DAY 14/30

TOPIC: IN HIS LOVE

TEXT: John 14:21; He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me; and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to Him.

We truly and sincerely bless God Almighty for this grace and mercy He has bestowed upon us, we're forever grateful to Him only who makes us to triumph. Amen.

Before I go on, I'll like to tell you that In His Love is going to be a series, so get ready and not miss the following ones. Today, by His sure mercies we'll consider ABIDING IN HIS LOVE. Oh the Love of God, and that true Love for Him will be shed in our hearts by the most precious Holy Spirit. It's a blessing to humanity that the Spirit of the Living God dwells with us.

We might or must have wondered in the course of our relationship with or coming to Christ, that how can we truly Love God?, O yes, Glory to God. It's a good thing if that has always been your desire, and if you've never thought or desired to love God, trust the Holy Spirit to pour out that golden vial on you.

It is a must we know that we love Him because He first loved us. He has loved us with an everlasting love, insomuch that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down His life for his friends. Abiding in His Love, dwelling in there is one key to loving God. We cannot abide in His Love if we have not made that decision or desired to truly do. But when we do, the Holy Ghost sees our heart, fuels and directs us in the right channel, teaches us how to love the Father.

Loving God will require that we keep and obey His commandments. It had always been, even from the old testament period, that the Children of Israel were commanded that they love the Lord God with all their heart, mind and soul. If we don't obey God's Words, what is the proof that we love Him?. But you don't have to be worried about cramming all His words or commandments, Jesus said in vs26 of our text, But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The Holy Spirit is our everything. Please desire and truly get closer to Him. He is the One that can help us abide in the Love of God. He'll teach you how to truly love God and obey His commandments.

Prayer Point: Father, I truly desire to love you and keep your commandments, please help me by your Spirit in Jesus name. Amen.
