REPENTANCE

We thank God for a new day and we're absolutely grateful for life. This life which we are privileged to live should be for Christ and His glory; Philippians 1:20-21 KJV, living after the flesh and according to the flesh is sin and death. The Bible explains this well; Romans 8:5-6 KJV, the early part of verse 5 says For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh....., taking a little interlude here, understanding the works of the flesh is important, Galatians 5:19-21 talks about them Now the works of the flesh are manifested, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, vs20; Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, vs21; Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Before we move forward ask yourself if you are manifesting any of these works of the flesh!, Romans 8:13a KJV says For if ye live  after the flesh, ye shall die:, this is a point-blank, so true as the Word of God is ever true. We only fulfil the desires of the flesh by sinning against God if we live after the flesh. The Bible says in Romans 6:23 KJV; For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The only way to receiving this gift of God which is eternal life is by dieing to the flesh and being made free from sin through repentance. Repentance therefore is the total decision and action to turn away from sin, it sting and fleshly desires. How do we repent?, as we know morals can't save our sins only Jesus Christ can. If we say we repent by just our own carnal methods, we will obviously find ourselves in the sin we thought we left and we're liars. There is assurance of total freedom from these sins in Christ Jesus Christ. Proverbs 28:13 KJV says He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. First we acknowledge that we are sinners and only Christ can save us, then we confess these sins to JESUS (you know them!) one after the other, I John1:6-9 KJV; vs9 says If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Tell Jesus you believe God raised Him from the dead on the third day and that with His blood which he shed on the cross at Calvary can and should cleanse you from all your sins, accept Him to be your personal Lord and savior, tell Him to reign in your heart, totally give him charge and turn away from all your sinful ways and friends. Alleluia! you are now saved and free from your sins, HEAVEN REJOICES !!!...

PRAYER POINT:

God, thank You for saving me, help me Lord Jesus to continue in your ways and not to turn back to sin.

WORD OF DECLARATION:

GO forth day by day in God's grace and a life free of sin.

The Joy of Salvation fills your heart and soul. AMEN!
