THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT

         Sundays feel extremely different here, what about there. We bless God for the immeasurable gift of life, it's by His grace we are not consumed. Happy Sunday to you all. Just the way we know that there are fruits of the flesh, which is not our main concern, we have some priceless fruits of the Spirit. Galatians 5:16-17 KJV says This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. vs17 says For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. The Holy Spirit through this passage makes us understand that the desires of the flesh and that of the Spirit are different and are contrary. Fulfilling the desires of the Spirit is by walking in the Spirit, by this we will not gratify the desires of the flesh. What are therefore this sinful desires of the flesh?, Galatians 5:19-21 KJV says Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, vs20: Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, vs21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. The Bible has shown us plainly and should be the mode of check of our lives. If we say we are born again we should be led of the Spirit and manifest the works of the Spirit. Looking through our lives and daily living, we should search ourselves and ask; is there any work of the flesh manifested in me?, are the glorious fruits of the spirit manifested in me?. Now, what are the Glorious fruits of the Spirit?, Galatians 5:22-23 KJV says But the fruit the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. vs23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Man and woman of the Spirit, let's observe ourselves thoroughly with the Word of God at all times. Also, if we are not born again and dead to the flesh, we cannot manifest the fruits of the Spirit. Repent and come to Christ today, ask for grace and death to the flesh that you may be alive and live according to the Spirit, manifesting the fruits.{ See Galatians 5:24-26}, The Lord help us. Amen.

PRAYER POINT:

Lord Jesus, here I am in your presence, save me and take away the lust and works of the flesh from me.

Help me not to be desirous of vain glory, Amen.
