FLEE

Glory to God now and forever for the past, present and for things to come. Today's discussion is going to be impactful in your life, Amen. The word FLEE means to run, although we don't mean run for nothing. According to the Bible, there are certain things we should desist or run from; any form of unrighteousness, ungodliness and sin. God is Holy and wants us to be Holy as well. The Bible warns us to flee youthful lusts and fleshly lust, II Timothy 2:22 KJV says Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. The Bible warns that the result for  walking according to the flesh is death. Now what are these lusts pf the flesh; Galatians 5:19-21 KJV says Now the works of the flesh are manifested, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, vs20; Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, vs21; Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God . Inheriting the Kingdom of God is not for those that work according to the flesh!, How then can we be free from this; through repentance and walking in the spirit . The Bible also says we should flee fornication, I Corinthians 6:18 KJV; Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. vs19 says What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?. Here is an example of what happened to some fornicators according to the bible, I Corinthians 10:8 KJV says Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Lastly, we should flee idolatry. God furiously hates one exalting other gods, idols, personality, things made by human hands above Him. I Corinthians 10:14 KJV says Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. How can we then be free; through repentance and washing away by the Blood of Jesus Christ and after this most important process we should then walk according to the Spirit and manifest the works of the Spirit {Galatians 5:16-22 KJV}.

PRAYER POINT:

O LORD, forgive me of all sins and desires of the flesh.

Father, deliver me from youthful lust, lusts of the flesh and make me free. AMEN.

WORD OF DECLARATION:

I receive power over sin

I am free from every covenant of death. AMEN.

  1. Emotion is stronger than knowledge.

Don't say you can't fall and then accomodate/allow that the Bible says flee from.

It's better to flee than to live your live with regrets.

Idols may not necessarily be small gods. It is something you esteem greater than God.
