ASK

It's a morning to receive, be glad but first thank YAH for the gift of life. This morning we will be considering ASK, a very vital word that in other words can be named prayer. Have you been asking God for anything, believe God and trust the Holy Spirit to bless you through this teaching, Matthew 7:8 KJV says For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth: and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. So many people find themselves needing one thing or the other, both what man can give and what man cannot. On this note, when we have a need; we are bound to ask. Now, who do you ASK?. I'll like to tell you that God wants us to ask Him, some people might say God know our needs, yes! He does, but let's not be selfish, God deserves and wants constant and consistent communion with Him. If He does all we want without us seeking His face, we might lose even fellowship or require no need for Him. Matthew 7:7; And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Trusting in the lord requires us tabling all our needs before Him, but how can we come to ask of Someone we don't believe?. Mark 9:23 KJV says Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. If we are true believers in His Son whom He sent, then we must now believe He can do all things, this is Faith; a sincere way of gaining His attention to answer all you ask according to His perfect will. We all expect answers when we ask of him, and therefore there are some things we must know. First, we must know God has good thoughts for us, not evil. We should know in this kingdom, God gives us only what He knows we need or will be useful for our destiny that will not kill our soul. James 4:3 KJV says Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts. So we do not go on and on asking for things that are just a drive from lust, let us bring forth our needs and let it be aligned with a kingdom purpose. This way God will answer even faster. Finally, I'd beg of us to pray for grace for patience and persistence, continuing in thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2 KJV says Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;. I pray the Almighty; who is capable of doing anything and everything according to His will, will answer all your prayers and heart desires. AMEN.
